A Taste of French Pate' -- Sept. 19 @ 1:30pm - 3pm -- Bldg 2 Room 204

To register, go to:  parks.uaoh.net

In this authentic dégustation, or tasting session, guests sample several traditional pate's, or savory spreads, some made in the local area.  Contrary to popular belief, most of these small-batch potted spreads are not expensive. They are perfect for summer picnics and car trips. Our delicious samples may include a Smoked Salmon Pate', and a coarse Mushroom Pate de Campagne both made by The Three Little Pigs Kitchen. And won't you feel chic and sassy as the only one at the cocktail party who can calmly explain the difference between the pate and the terrine? Your hostess, Madame Josie Gonot, from our Taste of France programs gives everyone a copy of her "Pate' Buying Guide," listing the various types, best local brands, where to buy them and some 2023 prices.  Join us for some fun and new ideas!

For each cheese, guests receive an information sheet to keep. It contains buying tips, serving ideas and suggested wine combinations.
